Tuition payment options expanded for undergraduate and master’s students

The Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) has expanded tuition payment options for its undergraduate and master’s students, and is offering different payment plans for the upcoming 2015/2016 academic year. Under these plans, undergraduate students have the possibility of dividing their tuition payments into as many as 8 installments, while master’s students may opt for as many as 12. The payment installments are interest free.

Undergraduate students may pay in cash in full within 15 days of enrolling, or they may do so in two installments. For those who choose the latter option, the first payment is made within 15 days of enrolling with the second occurring in April. Students who opt for direct debit payments may pay once in full during the month of October, they may do so in two installments during October and April, in four installments during October, December, February, and April; they also have the option of paying in eight installments during the months of October thru May.

Master’s students may pay in cash in full within 15 days of enrolling, or they may do so in two installments, the first within 15 days of enrolling with the second in April. The UMH also offers these students the option of direct debit payments several ways: They may pay in full during the month of October, they may do so in two installments in October and April, they can pay in 4 installments during the months of October, December, February, and April; in 8 installments during the months of October thru May, they can make 10 monthly payments from October thru July; and finally, tuition may be paid in 12 installments, divided between the months of October and September. Students who make direct debit payments in either 10 or 12 installments will not be able to have their degree issued until the months of September and November, respectively.
