2020 International Open Access Week

The library at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) is participating in the International Open Access Week worldwide event, which is ongoing until next Sunday, October 25. The Week is an annual initiative that strives to promote open access within the worlds of academia and research. “Open with Purpose: Taking Action to Build Structural Equity and Inclusion” is the theme for this year’s event.

To celebrate the Week, the UMH library is holding two online training sessions that aim to continue with the dissemination and explanation of what open access is and the possibilities that it offers. The first of these is to take place on October 22, beginning at 12 noon, consisting in and entitled, “Course on How to Publish your Final Degree and Master’s Projects in Open Access: Presentation and Content of Open Science, Legal Framework, REDIUMH Institutional Repository, Benefits of Open Publishing.” Interested parties may register for this through .
