      Lectura de la Memoria del Curso Académico 2004/2005 por el Ilustrísimo Señor Secretario General, Profesor Doctor Don Fermín Camacho de los Ríos.

      Interpretación del Haleluja de G.F. Haendel

      Solemne Investidura como Doctor Honoris Causa del Excelentísimo Señor Don Valentín Fuster de Carulla.

      Discursos.

CEREMONIAL

1)    Las Autoridades, Claustro de Profesores y el Excelentísimo Señor Don Valentín Fuster de Carulla serán recibidos por el Rector Magnífico a las 11,30 horas, en el Edificio Altabix.

2)    El Claustro de Profesores  y Autoridades, formarán el Cortejo Académico a las 11,55 horas, para dirigirse al lugar donde se celebrará el acto, con el siguiente orden:

1.    Doctores.

2.    Consejo Social.

3.    Consejo de Gobierno.

4.    Autoridades Civiles, Eclesiásticas y Militares.

5.    Autoridades Académicas.

6.    Autoridades de la Comunidad Autónoma.

7.    Presidente del Consejo Social y Alcalde de la Ciudad.

8.    Rector.

3)    A la entrada del Cortejo Académico, los presentes se pondrán en pie y el Coro entonará el himno Canticorum jubilo de G.F.Haendel.

Los miembros del Cortejo ocuparán sus sitios, se constituirá la Mesa Presidencial y en pie escucharán el himno Veni, Creator Spiritus.

4)    Terminado el himno el Rector dirá: “DOCTORES, SENTÁOS Y CUBRÍOS”.

5)    La Presidencia dirá: “SE ABRE LA SESIÓN.  EL SECRETARIO GENERAL DARÁ LECTURA A LA MEMORIA DEL CURSO ACADÉMICO 2004/2005 DE LA UNIVERSIDAD MIGUEL HERNÁNDEZ DE ELCHE”.

6)    El Secretario General dará lectura a la Memoria.

7)    A continuación la Presidencia dirá: “SE VA A PROCEDER AL ACTO DE INVESTIDURA DEL EXCELENTÍSIMO SEÑOR DON VALENTÍN FUSTER DE CARULLA COMO DOCTOR HONORIS CAUSA POR LA UNIVERSIDAD MIGUEL HERNÁNDEZ DE ELCHE. EL SECRETARIO GENERAL SE DIGNARÁ IR A RECOGER Y ACOMPAÑAR A ESTE CLAUSTRO, AL DOCTORANDO Y A SU PADRINO, DOCTOR DON JUAN CATURLA SUCH”.

8)    El Secretario General precedido de los bedeles, saldrá en busca del Doctorando y su padrino.

9)    A la entrada de la comitiva se pondrá en pie todo el Claustro e invitados. El Doctorando revestido de toga y muceta, precedido del Secretario General y acompañado de su padrino, se dirigirá al lugar reservado al efecto y tomarán asiento. El coro interpretará el Haleluja de G.F. Haendel.

10)   El Rector dirá: “EL SECRETARIO GENERAL DARÁ LECTURA AL DECRETO RECTORAL DE NOMBRAMIENTO COMO DOCTOR HONORIS CAUSA POR LA UNIVERSIDAD MIGUEL HERNÁNDEZ DE ELCHE DEL EXCELENTÍSIMO SEÑOR DON VALENTÍN FUSTER DE CARULLA”.

11)   El Secretario General procede a la lectura del Decreto Rectoral.

12)   El Rector dirá: “EL PADRINO DEL DOCTORANDO TIENE LA PALABRA PARA PRONUNCIAR LA LAUDATIO”

13)   El Doctor Don Juan Caturla Such pronunciará la Laudatio, que terminará diciendo: “Y POR LO EXPUESTO, SOLICITO SE PROCEDA A INVESTIR AL EXCELENTÍSIMO SEÑOR DON VALENTÍN FUSTER DE CARULLA DEL GRADO DE DOCTOR HONORIS CAUSA POR LA UNIVERSIDAD MIGUEL HERNÁNDEZ DE ELCHE”.

14)   El Rector dirá: “SE VA A PROCEDER A LA SOLEMNE INVESTIDURA, COMO DOCTOR HONORIS CAUSA DEL EXCELENTÍSIMO SEÑOR DON VALENTÍN FUSTER DE CARULLA”. (El Doctorando, acompañado de su padrino, se situará frente al Rector).

15)   El Rector dirá: “SEÑOR, YO, EL RECTOR, EN VIRTUD DE LA AUTORIDAD QUE ME ESTÁ CONFERIDA, OS ENTREGO EL TÍTULO DE DOCTOR HONORIS CAUSA POR LA UNIVERSIDAD MIGUEL HERNÁNDEZ DE ELCHE. OS IMPONGO EL BIRRETE LAUREADO, SÍMBOLO DISTINTITVO DEL ALTO MAGISTERIO ESPAÑOL. LLEVADLO SOBRE VUESTRA CABEZA COMO LA CORONA DE VUESTROS ESTUDIOS Y MERECIMIENTOS”. (Se lo impone).

16)   El Rector continuará: “VUESTRO PADRINO OS ENTREGARÁ LOS DEMÁS ATRIBUTOS DE VUESTROS HONORES: EN PRIMER LUGAR RECIBID EL LIBRO DE LA CIENCIA Y LA SABIDURÍA, QUE ES PRECISO QUE CULTIVÉIS Y DIFUNDÁIS SIN DESCANSO, PARA QUE TENGÁIS PRESENTE QUE, POR GRANDES QUE SEAN VUESTROS TALENTOS, SIEMPRE DEBERÉIS MANIFESTAR REVERENCIA, RESPETO Y TODA CONSIDERACIÓN A LOS MAESTROS QUE HAN SIDO VUESTROS PREDECESORES”. (El Padrino le hará entrega del Libro de la Ciencia y la Sabiduría).

“RECIBID EL ANTIGUO ANILLO, SÍMBOLO DEL MATRIMONIO ENTRE VOS Y EL SABER, ÉL REPRESENTA EL EMBLEMA DEL PRIVILEGIO DE FIRMAR Y SELLAR LOS DICTÁMENES, CONSULTAS Y CENSURAS DE VUESTRA CIENCIA Y PROFESIÓN”. (El Padrino le hará entrega del Anillo).

“RECIBID FINALMENTE LOS BLANCOS GUANTES, SÍMBOLO DE LA PUREZA QUE DEBEN CONSERVAR VUESTRAS MANOS, Y SIGNO TAMBIÉN DE VUESTRA ALTA CATEGORÍA”. (El Padrino le hará entrega de los Guantes).

17)   A continuación el Rector dirá: “INVITO AL NUEVO DOCTOR HONORIS CAUSA A PRESTAR JURAMENTO”

18)   El Secretario General leerá la siguiente fórmula de juramento: “¿JURÁIS POR VUESTRA CONCIENCIA Y HONOR, FIDELIDAD A LA UNIVERSIDAD MIGUEL HERNÁNDEZ DE ELCHE, DEFENDER Y GUARDAR SU HONRA Y PROVECHO, MANTENER EL ORDEN DE LOS ASIENTOS Y ANCIANIDADES, GUARDAR LOS ESTATUTOS QUE AHORA SON O POR TIEMPO SE HICIEREN, Y LLEVAR LOS DERECHOS DE LOS GRADOS POR ENTERO Y NO SOLTARLOS A PERSONA ALGUNA?”

19)   El Doctorando dirá: “SÍ, JURO”.

20)   Prestado el juramento, el Rector dirá: “EGREGIO DOCTOR, TE ADMITO E INCORPORO EN EL COLEGIO DE LOS DOCTORES DE LA ACADEMIA CON TODOS LOS HONORES, LIBERTADES, EXENCIONES Y PRIVILEGIOS QUE GOZAN O PUEDAN GOZAR LOS OTROS DOCTORES EN LA UNIVERSIDAD Y EN CUALQUIER OTRA PARTE DEL ORBE. RECIBE EL ABRAZO DE FRATERNIDAD DE LOS QUE SE HONRAN Y CONGRATULAN DE SER VUESTROS HERMANOS Y COMPAÑEROS”. (Abrazan al Doctorando el Rector y el Padrino).

21)   Reintegrados todos a sus puestos, el Rector dirá: “TIENE LA PALABRA EL DOCTOR HONORIS CAUSA EXCELENTÍSIMO SEÑOR DON VALENTIN FUSTER DE CARULLA PARA PRONUNCIAR LA LECCIÓN ACADÉMICA INAUGURAL DEL CURSO ACADÉMICO 2004/2005 DE LA UNIVERSIDAD MIGUEL HERNÁNDEZ  DE ELCHE”.

22)   El nuevo Doctor Honoris Causa, Excelentísimo Señor Don Valentín Fuster de Carulla, pronunciará su discurso.

23)   Acto seguido, el Rector dirá: “EL ILUSTRÍSIMO SEÑOR SECRETARIO GENERAL PROCEDERÁ A LA TOMA DE JURAMENTO DEL PROFESORADO INCORPORADO A LA UNIVERSIDAD MIGUEL HERNÁNDEZ DE ELCHE, ASÍ COMO DE LOS CATEDRÁTICOS Y PROFESORES TITULARES DE NUESTRA UNIVERSIDAD QUE HAN TOMADO POSESIÓN DURANTE EL CURSO ACADÉMICO 2004/2005″.

EL SECRETARIO GENERAL NOMBRARÁ A LOS REPRESENTANTES DE LOS PROFESORES, QUE SE ACERCARÁN A LA MESA PRESIDENCIAL.” (El Señor Secretario General los nombrará)

A continuación el Secretario General leerá la siguiente fórmula de juramento: “¿JURÁIS POR VUESTRA CONCIENCIA Y HONOR CUMPLIR FIELMENTE LAS OBLIGACIONES DE PROFESORES DE LA UNIVERSIDAD MIGUEL HERNÁNDEZ DE ELCHE, DEFENDER Y GUARDAR SU HONRA Y PROVECHO, CON LEALTAD A SUS ESTATUTOS Y A LA CONSTITUCIÓN, COMO NORMA FUNDAMENTAL DEL ESTADO?”.

24)   Todos dirán: “SÍ, JURAMOS/PROMETEMOS”. (Una vez prestado el juramento los profesores bajarán del escenario).

25)   A continuación la Presidencia tomará la palabra y dirá su discurso. Terminará diciendo: “EN NOMBRE DE SU MAJESTAD EL REY, QUEDA INAUGURADO EN LA UNIVERSIDAD MIGUEL HERNÁNDEZ DE ELCHE EL CURSO ACADÉMICO 2005/2006”.

26)   Puestos todos en pie y permaneciendo en sus sitios correspondientes, entonarán el Gaudeamus Igitur.

27)   Seguidamente la Presidencia dirá: “SE LEVANTA LA SESIÓN”.

28)   Sale el Cortejo Académico en orden inverso al de entrada.
