Anneta Nicoli, 1841 (Altea) – 1893 (El Campello), was a singer in the Altea Opera, daughter of Miguel Jorro, diplomat and owner of the Finca de la Moreira, which passed on to her brother, Vicente, the Count of Altea. According to the book Altea 1896-1955 (La Tertulia, 1986), Ana Jorro Gómez, “Anneta,” was married to the sculptor from Carrara (Italy), Silvio Nicoli, and lived between Rome, Florence, and Altea. She passed away while on holiday in Alicante, in El Campello.
