The Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) is shocked by the loss of lives due to the flash flooding in several Spanish provinces, especially that of Valencia. Following this event, the UMH extends its condolences to the families of the victims of this storm, which devastated Valencia, Castilla La Mancha, and Andalucia.

The UMH expresses its solidarity with everybody affected by the flash flooding and lends its full support for the teams working to mitigate this disaster and locate the individuals who are still missing.
