Research resources of the UMH reached almost 10 million during 2012

The Vice Rectorate for Research and Innovation of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) of Elche and the Research Results Transfer Office (OTRI) have developed the Research Report 2012. According to this document, the funds raised last year by researchers at the UMH, as a result of their research, reached 9,923,954.04 euros.

The funds have been distributed as follows: 4,901,470.85 euros derives from R & D competitive, 2,218,381.89 euros from R & D contracted entities, both public and private; 1,550,000 euros belong to ERDF funds and 1,254,001.30 euros related to research grants.

In 2012, the UMH has applied for 12 patents, has defended 97 doctoral theses and has published more than 1,000 scientific articles, written by the researchers at the University, in national and international journals.
